Kia ora koutou. A warm welcome awaits you all!
From relatively humble beginnings in 1957 Peachgrove Intermediate School has evolved into a large multicultural Intermediate, a true cross section of the Hamilton City Community – a stimulating and vibrant modern learning environment.
The Governor General, Lord Cobham visited in 1962, presenting a plaque containing his words; “Leadership can be exercised only by those who have learned self-discipline. Nobody can learn to lead who has not first learned to serve.”
Peachgrove is a community focusing on continuous growth for all learners. Individual differences are valued and learners are encouraged and challenged to extend their knowledge and horizons. We are constantly improving our skills and knowledge and acknowledge that as learners, we are all in this together, respecting and living by the school’s motto, “First Learn to Serve”.
“No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care.”
Developing and maintaining positive relationships is a priority at Peachgrove and we work hard to assist our learners as they confront the challenges of living, learning and growing as young adolescents.
Your support, opinions and ideas are welcome.
